Returns and Exchange Policy
The costume industry standard has always been that there are no returns or exchanges due to the “one time use” nature of its products. However, more costumes are now being purchased over the internet where they can not be inspected for size. To accommodate for this, Jokes R Wild has developed an Exchange Policy.
Our Exchange Policy is a follows:
There are No Returns on any item.
Costumes and shoes may be exchanged for a different size of the same item within 3 days of receipt of merchandise. If the other size needed is not available, the customer may choose another item of equal value and style. Please be sure to open your costume or shoes and try it on as soon as it arrives.
No exchanges will be allowed on wigs, tights, lingerie, and any accessories. Exchanges are for size only.
To exchange an item, you must call 877-DRESS-YOU within 3 days of receiving your merchandise to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number and exchange instructions. Jokes R Wild is not responsible for shipping charges on exchanged items.
Once authorization is given, the package must be post-marked within 5 days of the return authorization date. Once Jokes R Wild has received the item from the customer, the new item will be shipped.
Items being exchanged MUST be in their original, unused condition and in their original packaging. The costume and all of its included parts must be intact. We do not accept exchanges on worn merchandise. The items will be sent back to the customer at their expense if we feel they have been worn and the exchange will not be made.
All items are new merchandise and have been inspected for manufacturing defects. If an item is damaged or destroyed in shipping, please contact us or the shipping carrier immediately upon inspection.
Jokes R Wild will make every effort to ship the customer’s order in a timely manner. If an order is time sensitive, the customer must tell us the date that the item is needed. However, Jokes R Wild will not be held responsible for late deliveries by any freight carrier. Refunds will not be issued due to carrier or address mistakes. All orders are considered the customer’s once the package has been shipped.
Costumers will still be charged full amount on refused packages.
IMPORTANT: Halloween Exchange Policy Exclusion Dates: Due to the seasonal nature of our merchandise, Return Authorization Numbers will not be issued between October 15th and November 5th. ALL SALES DURING THIS TIME PIEROD ARE CONSIDERED FINAL. Please be sure to review sizes and double check basket contents before ordering.
Please note: Costume styles (colors and fabrics) are subject to change without notice, due to the manufacturer’s production. These changes, no matter how slight, are beyond our control. The manufacturers do not always notify us of these variations. We do reflect any changes in the website descriptions and images as soon as we become aware of them. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
